- Can I record my grandfather's voice?
- Yes — this is why GeraPersona exists. With 30 minutes of clean audio from home videos, phone recordings, or voicemails, you can create a family voice-skin. The skin stays in your household by default; you can set it public with a price if you want to share a beloved voice with the world. Designate heirs in the dashboard and royalties stay in the family across generations.
- Who gets paid when someone downloads my persona?
- You do. Every purchase is a Stripe Connect destination charge — 70% lands in your connected Stripe account the moment the payment captures. Platform keeps 30%. If you have designated estate heirs in the dashboard, their share of residuals activates when you opt out or pass away.
- How does revenue share + estate royalty work?
- Creators onboard via Stripe Connect Express (identity + payout details). On purchase, the platform sets application_fee_amount to 30% and transfer_data.destination to your connected account; Stripe splits the charge automatically on capture. Estate records designate heirs with a share_percent (1–100), signed at creation, revocable any time. When the creator opts out or dies, residuals route by those shares.
- What about copyrighted characters and celebrity voices?
- The service auto-flags submissions mentioning copyrighted characters (Mickey Mouse, Darth Vader, Yoda) and living celebrities (Gordon Ramsay, Morgan Freeman) as auto_reject_hint. Moderators check for a valid talent release before approval. Uploading a celebrity voice without licence is grounds for immediate rejection and creator account termination.
- Which devices are supported?
- Personas declare a compatibility list (Unitree G1, Boston Dynamics Spot, 1X Neo, Figure 02, Alexa, GeraVoice, Claude-desktop, ElevenLabs-compatible endpoints, ROS 2 platforms). The runtime reads this manifest and only exposes personas that match the caller. New devices added as they ship.
- Are voice samples and full assets protected?
- The 2-5 second sample clip is free and publicly hosted. The full asset URL is signed + time-limited — the service resolves it to a fresh URL at install time, never handing out a long-lived download link. Piracy is gated at the object-storage layer, not the app.
- What happens when a persona is refunded?
- A full Stripe refund via charge.refunded marks the purchase as REFUNDED and revokes access on all devices that had it. Partial refunds do not revoke; they are recorded on the purchase history. Dispute + chargeback flows follow Stripe's standard marketplace rules.
- Can AI agents install personas on behalf of users?
- Yes. GeraPersona ships with a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server exposing search_personas, get_persona, list_categories, install_persona, and get_creator_revenue. Agents authenticate as their operator and trigger purchase + install flows with user approval. Every agent-initiated transaction carries a consent token in metadata.
