Create your persona
Define your persona's personality, communication style, and voice characteristics. Record 30–60 seconds of high-quality audio samples — home recording equipment is fine. Write 2–3 sample dialogue exchanges.
Submit for review
Upload your persona via the creator dashboard. Our moderation team reviews every submission for quality, originality, and compliance. No unlicensed celebrity voices or copyrighted characters. Typical review time: 48–72 hours.
Connect Stripe
Set up a Stripe Connect Express account in five minutes — Stripe handles identity verification and payout details. This is where your 70% lands, directly, on every subscription payment.
Go live and earn
Once approved, your persona is live on the marketplace. Every subscriber payment triggers an immediate Stripe Connect destination charge: 70% to you, 30% platform fee. No monthly wait, no opaque revenue schedules.
How revenue share works technically
Every persona subscription uses Stripe Connect destination charges. When a user subscribes, the platform creates a charge and sets application_fee_amount to 30% and transfer_data.destination to your connected Stripe account ID. Stripe splits the charge automatically at capture.
No waiting for monthly settlements. Your 70% transfers to your connected account the moment the payment captures. You can see every transaction in real time in your creator dashboard and in your Stripe Connect dashboard.
Estate royalty inheritance is supported for family voice recordings. In your creator dashboard, designate up to five estate heirs with share percentages (total must not exceed 100%). These designations are signed at creation, revocable any time while you are active. When you opt out or your account is marked deceased by an estate administrator, the residual share activates and payments route to your designated heirs automatically.

What do I need to create a persona?
A well-defined personality concept, 30–60 seconds of clear audio samples (home recording is acceptable — we'll tell you what quality level is needed), and a personality description covering tone, communication style, and ideal use cases. Technical audio production skills are not required.
How exactly does the 70/30 split work?
When a user subscribes to your persona, GeraPersona processes the payment via Stripe Connect as a destination charge. Stripe automatically splits the payment: 70% transfers to your connected Stripe account, 30% stays as the platform fee. This happens at the moment of payment capture — not on a monthly settlement cycle. You can see every transaction in your creator dashboard.
What is the founding creator offer?
The first 100 approved personas on the platform receive an 80/20 split (80% to creator) for the lifetime of those personas. This is our way of rewarding early creators who help build the catalogue. Once 100 founding personas are approved, new submissions revert to the standard 70/30 split.
Can I record a family member's voice?
Yes — this is one of the most valued use cases on the platform. With 30 minutes of clean audio from home videos, voicemails, or recorded sessions, you can create a family voice skin. You control whether it's private (household only) or public (available to subscribers). You can also designate estate heirs who receive a share of residuals after you opt out or pass away.
What happens to my earnings after I stop?
You can opt out at any time. If you have designated estate heirs in your creator dashboard, residual payments from existing subscribers route to those heirs according to the share percentages you set. This is revocable and adjustable while you are active.
Can I submit a persona in a language other than English?
Yes. GeraPersona actively encourages multilingual personas. The platform currently supports personas in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Armenian, Georgian, Japanese, Swahili, Arabic, and more. Non-English personas often have less competition and can attract highly engaged niche audiences.
What gets rejected?
Submissions that impersonate living celebrities without a talent release, use copyrighted characters without a licence (Darth Vader, Mickey Mouse, etc.), contain harmful or deceptive content, or fail minimum audio quality standards. We also reject personas that are too similar to existing approved ones without sufficient differentiation.
Is there a submission fee?
No. Submission and review are free. You only need a Stripe Connect account for payouts, which is also free to set up.
